Eric Steager is Managing Partner at Band Venture Partners, bringing over 20 years of venture capital experience. Previously, he led Purdue Ventures and re-established the corporate venture capital programs at Anthem and Independence Blue Cross, focusing on early-stage healthcare and technology investments. He has held roles at GPX Enterprises, Safeguard Scientifics, and founded a private investment fund. His early career included healthcare investment banking at Houlihan Lokey and Ernst & Young. He has taught finance and entrepreneurship at Drexel and Temple Universities and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University.
Dr. Ginger Rothrock is the Senior Investment Director of HG Ventures, the Corporate Venture Arm of The Heritage Group, where she invests in early to growth stage companies developing advanced materials and systems for the circular economy, energy, water, specialty chemicals, and transportation infrastructure. Before joining HG Ventures, Ginger served as Vice President of Technology and Commercialization at RTI International where she oversaw the commercialization of a $1 billion portfolio of R&D and served as a mentor and coach to numerous scientific innovators. She is also an accomplished scientist and serial entrepreneur who empathizes with our entrepreneurs’ unique challenges.
Bobby Prostko is the Managing Director of Allegion Ventures and Deputy General Counsel at Allegion plc, specializing in privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property. He has a diverse background, advising startups and large tech companies on M&A, investment, and legal strategies. Known for his approachable and practical advice, Bobby is a trusted advisor to executives and portfolio companies. He's also an inventor with patents involving AI and machine learning. He holds degrees in computer engineering, law, and cybersecurity. Outside of work, Bobby enjoys family time, video games, motorsports, and supporting children's health initiatives.
